Iowa West Sports plex
Client: Council Bluffs Soccer Club + Iowa West Foundation
About: The Iowa West Sports Plex is a 75,000 square foot indoor turf facility with the ability to accommodate multiple young athletes from sports including soccer, baseball and softball.
Brief: Create donor recognition for the entry of the space and represents different giving levels.
Additional Scope: Exterior Building Signage
The concept is based on a ball in flight as the unifying visual element of all of the sports played in the space.
The ball is represented by aluminum medallions for lower level donors, and the flight lines represent various larger donors. Donor levels are subtly distinguished by font weight and size, and proximity to the “ball”. The blank medallions are removable to allow for additional donors.
